AKTERM Metal – heat energy saving coating based on water dispersion, designed especially for the thermal insulation of metal surfaces. Applied as paint – acts as the heat barrier! The AKTERM COATING, which does not contain organic solvents, is fire-resistant, non-toxic, atmospheric-resistant, and is suitable for use both outside and inside residential and industrial premises.
Thermal insulation of hot pipelines
Protection of metal structures from excessive heat
Thermal insulation of boilers, furnaces, shut-off fittings
Protection against corrosion of metal
Prevents condensation and freezing on metal
Thermal insulation of tanks, hangars, refrigeration facilities, storage facilities
Insulation of various metal surfaces, glass surfaces, plastics
Heat insulation of metal-coated or finished roofs
Thermal protection of air-conditioning and ventilation systems;
Thermal insulation of vehicles
Protects against thermal burns
The liquid thermal insulation flow rate of the Metal modification is 1 liter per 1 m² with a thickness of 1 mm.
Recommended layer thickness – 1.5 – 2 mm.
Coating thickness of 1 mm dries out at room temperature and normal humidity – 24 hours.
After complete drying of the insulating layer for 24 hours, the surface can be operated in a temperature range from -60°C to +150°C.
The color of the coating after drying is white. It is possible to track in RAL (light tones).
AKTERM metal is applied in layers from 0.5 to 1 mm (per application) to reach the finish layer of 1.5 – 2 mm at ambient temperature from +7C° to +45°C on a surface with a temperature from +7°C to +150°C.
If the area of the surface to be treated is small, an ordinary brush or a roller with a long groove can be used.
The process of applying liquid thermal insulation is carried out by means of a special vacuum-free spraying unit, which is specially designed for handling such materials. To apply a layer of thermal-paint, it is necessary to use a nozzle of solid-alloy material, because other nozzles quickly deteriorate.
Roller (Dilute with water)
Transport conditions: at a temperature of +5°C to +45°C;
